I had decided to start an online retail business and, having spent considerable time reviewing products on Alibaba, I had identified a product which wasn’t currently being sold anywhere in the UK.
Being new to retail and starting up a new business, I wasn’t familiar with the processes involved in sourcing and shipping products from China and using the Amazon platform.
I was looking for solid advice specifically for the shipping of products from China.
My main concern was getting the approval from Amazon to sell the power bank that I had chosen. I did not want to sell the product on any other platform, and I did not want to take delivery or store the products at any time myself in the UK as I do not have a storage facility in the UK.
Registering to become an Amazon Seller was far more difficult than I had envisaged, and the testing requirements for my product were far more onerous than I had foreseen.

This allowed me to still ship the products directly into Amazon’s warehouse, the result of which is a far more efficient process.
